You can delete your Duetling account and everything stored on our server at any time. The fastest route is inside the app, and it takes effect immediately.
Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.
Lost the phone, or already uninstalled? Email us from the address you signed up with — we can only act on a request that comes from that address, since it is the only way to confirm the account is yours.
We will action it within 30 days, and normally much sooner. You will get a reply confirming when it is done.
If a second parent shares your household, the household and its entries survive. Their copy of the log is not yours to destroy, and deleting your account would otherwise wipe the record of their baby from their phone too. Your membership is removed, and the entries you logged stop being attributed to you.
If you are the only member, there is nothing to preserve and everything goes.
The log on your own phone is separate from the server copy. Deleting the account removes the server data; to clear the phone as well, uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android Settings.
Your Pro unlock stays with you. It belongs to your Google Play account rather than your Duetling account, so deleting the latter does not cost you the purchase, and you will not be shown the paywall again if you come back.
Google Play purchase records are held by Google, not by us, and are outside what we can delete. Google's retention applies.
Deletion is permanent, so export before you go if you want to keep the record: Settings → Export as CSV gives you every entry as a spreadsheet, free, and works without an account.
