These are the terms you agree to by using Duetling. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
Duetling is a baby tracker for parents and carers. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live — in most places, 18. If you are using it on behalf of a family, you are responsible for what happens under your account.
You agree not to reverse engineer the app, attempt to reach data belonging to households you are not a member of, or use the service to do anything unlawful.
You own everything you log. We claim no rights over it. We do not use it to train anything, we do not sell it, and we do not show it to advertisers. What we do with it is described in the Privacy Policy.
You can take it with you at any time: Settings → Export as CSV exports every entry, free, with no account required.
The app works without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping access to the email address it uses, since that is how account recovery works.
If you invite a partner into your household, they can see and edit every entry for the babies in it, and they can add entries of their own. Invite only someone you intend to share all of that with.
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks partner sync, charts and multiple babies. There is nothing recurring to cancel.
The purchase is processed by Google Play and is tied to your Google Play account, not to your Duetling account. It survives reinstalling the app, changing phone, and deleting your Duetling account.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy, because Google is the seller. If something has gone wrong and Google will not help, write to us anyway at nestlog7@gmail.com and we will do what we can.
The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Pro removes them entirely. We do not control which specific ads Google serves.
The app sends crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics so faults can be diagnosed, and anonymous usage statistics to Firebase Analytics so we can see which parts of the app are used. Neither ever contains anything you logged about your baby. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what each collects.
Duetling records what you enter and shows you the pattern. It does not diagnose, advise, interpret or alert. Growth charts plot your own measurements; they are not a clinical assessment, and the app will not tell you whether a number is normal.
Never use Duetling as a substitute for professional medical judgement. If you are worried about your baby — feeding, weight, temperature, breathing, anything — contact a doctor, health visitor or emergency service. Do not wait on an app.
The app is provided as it is. We do our best to keep sync working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
Because the app is offline-first, your local log keeps working even when our server does not. That is deliberate: an outage should cost you sync, not your data.
Even so, please do not treat Duetling as the only copy of anything you cannot bear to lose. Export a CSV occasionally. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost entries, missed sync, or decisions made from what the app displayed.
You can stop using the app whenever you like and delete your account from Settings → Delete account, or via the deletion page. Deletion is permanent.
We may suspend access if an account is being used to attack the service or abuse other users.
If we change these terms we will update the date above, and announce material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Duetling after that means you accept the new terms.
